No, if it was in OK it would have said so on the census record. I looked up Valetta Ranch on a site for old TX post offices and it was in Denton Co, TX, for the time period I listed. That's why I suggested contacting the Denton Public Library, they may have something a little more historical then genealogical that would tell about the Valetta Ranch Post Office.

I did a quick look at 1860 & 1870 census for TX, no one named Valetta shows up. But, the online index I use has to match the spelling exactly. I thought if someone in Denton Co, TX named Valetta owned land there, you might narrow down where their "ranch" was located. LOL
