I am looking for information on the family of James Martin Chitty, born in SC, abt. 1823 died before 1889.do not know parents , brothers or sisters. by 1870 no further infor available. Married Martha Lousia Page, August 09,1853 in Harrison County Texas, Children, John Chitty born about 1856, Jame Henry Chitty born May 5, 1860,married Josefine Fairie 10-10- 1882 died 12-27-1921, William Nathanel Chitty ( AKA Willie Buck, Buck, and WB) born 6-6-1862, Died 11-13-1946, married Sara Eldona Ward, 2-20-2889, Mary Chitty born 1863, Panola County, died 1901, Married Lee C. Kelly, George Price Chitty born abt 18671 Panola County, died June 17, 1927 Married India Rosella Thurman 12-15-1884 in Wood county. Martha Lousia Page Chitty remarried to Samuel Miles in 1869 died 1871, children split up between miles family with the exception of John after the 1869 census there is no longer any information on this John Chitty, leads to another that may belong to this family unable to prove the connection.
Any information on any of these familes would be very greatly appreciated.
