Hi,
Thank you for your help but unfortunately they are not my Mansfields.
The census shows them in Lucas Co., Iowa in 1850, Coryell Co., Texas in 1860, Vernon Co., Missouri in 1870. Then they went to Cedar Co., Missouri where he died in 1876.
There are Mansfields in Ohio at the right time whose ancestors came from Ireland but I cannot connect them to my family. Thanks again.
