Hugh,

As a fellow volunteer (mostly California experience), I have posted a few replies. Think I might have found this family in 1930 US Fed Census where "Other Hill" is James Hill, wife, "ICIE" is maybe Isadora, had children Dorothy, Mary, Alberta and James Jr.

The Alberta clearly of the right age, died in CA with a Hoover last name.

Please see my replies and tell me if I am "way off". I think I might be "on this". If you have any ideas, please suggest them to me. sudavis@cox.net

I also appreciate you asking what I didn't ask and intended to... what is "Other Hill's brother's name?"

Sincerely,
Susan
