Jay and Mansfield in Galveston Texas

I am doing the Charles F Mansfield and Armontine A Jay families. All I have to work with is the pages from the family Bible. It has Charles and Armontine marrying 10-22-1895. I know that most of the records at Galveston was lost during the 1900 storm. Any help would be appreciated, Jane
