Looking for Rio de la Leona
Posted by: Juan Arce (ID *****6791) Date: September 07, 2004 at 16:50:08

Looking for information on a place called Rio de la Leona. It could have been a ranch or river, that is where my grandfather was born. Eugenio Trevino Arcia. I have looked at maps of texas and there is a Leona river. My grandfather was born during the 1860's. That may be Apache territory. If anyone has any information about this place or what Indian tribe existed or camped along this river I would appreciated any info I can get.
