I have to say in defense of the ladies at the Cooke County Courthouse-I have told a lot of people to call and ask things of the ladies that work there and as far as my knowledge goes they have never charged anyone just to tell them what information was availble or where to look ,dates that may or may not have information availble.Several people have told me how helpful they were-no one complained that they charged for asking. Maybe its because this is a small town but I just had to correct the notion that she would be charged for asking if the information was availble.
