And yes, Amiel WISER died two years after my relative's birth and his mother died when he was a young man. He and his brothers recall few details of their father told to them by their mother, Sylvina (ABSHIER)(WISER)MOOR. I hope to "attract" attention from Amiel's brothers' descendants by posting to this forum.
The "widow" Hannah that you located on the 1900 census must have been her daughter or a spouse of a son/grandson. I just signed up to Godfrey Library's census access on HeritageQuest and am going there NOW to see what you referenced. My immigrant Hannah was born abt. 1821 and died after 1880 (or so I am told, not having proof). I am v-e-r-y interested in what you saw on the census...
