John Wesley Coates & Charles Conner Coates

I am in search of any record of these men. They were my grandfather and ggrandfather. I'm particularly interested in Charles. There seems to be nothing on him anywhere. He may have died in the early 1900's in or around Abilene, Tx or even Knox City, Haskell area. Any info will be greatly appreciated. I don't know where else to check!
