Childress family and the Ellison family

I am looking for my grandfather and grandmother on where they were from . Walter and Rosa Mae (Ellison ) Childress . my father and his sisters and brothers were born in Waxahachie,Texas Ellis county. any information would help. some of the family still lives in Waxahchie , but know one knows where they were from .
