Dennis, this may mess you up or may help you. I am helping my friend with his family, I came accross Rhea in Plum Grove, Washington County, Tennessee Abt 1774 name of Archibald Rhea he died in 25 Jan 1833 Monroe County, Tennessee, his wife was Catherine Sherrill Seiver born 1781 about 6 mile, below Jonesboro, Overton Co., Tn died 31 May 1827 Tuscanbia, Ala.I have some of the childrens names and not much else on them James While Rhea, John Sevier Rhea, Jane Rhea, Anna Eliza Rhea born 1809, and Mary Rhea born 1812. This was an off branch family and was not taken any farther. Archibald and Catherine were married 10 Feb 1803 in Knox Co, Tenn. I hope this is of some help. Catherines parents were John Seiver and Catherine Sherrill They had eight children one of which was a Doctor, his name was Samuel and he married a Jane Rhea she died 28 July 1870 in Russellville, Franklin Co., Ala I don't have her parents.
Rick
