MARY BRAZELL/BORN IN TEXAS AROUND 1867/MARRIED CLINE
Posted by: emma bishop (ID *****3477) Date: June 14, 2004 at 05:02:02

I am looking for information on my great grandmother. MARY BRAZELL was
born in Texas, according to a delayed birth certificate from my
Grandmother, DELLA MAY CLINE. (there is a possibility that her last name could be spelled differently)

The 1900 census lists her married to my great grandfather, ROBERT
MARION CLINE (he was born in YELL COUNTY ARKANSAS). Family records say
they were married in OCT. 1881, but I do not know where. I also donít
know what her parents or siblings names were, except that she possibly
had a sister who was married to a Jenkins or Jennings, and even that
information is vague. She had my grandmother Della May Cline in 1908 and died sometime around 1918-1919. The whole family is listed in the
1900 and 1910 census, but in 1920, MARY is missing, which co-incides with her expected date of death. Family rumors also say that Grandpa
Marion, around the time that he married Mary Brazell, (1881) was partners in a mule train freight outfit from Dardanelle, Arkansas. His mule train was robbed and two men were killed, as a result of this, Grandpa Marion left Arkansas and went to Indian Territory or Texas. He is then reported to have married MARY BRAZEL, (she is also supposed to be of Indian descent) his last known census in 1880, shows him
in Scott County, Hickman, Arkansas. The next known record is the
Birth of their son Walter L. Cline in 1884 in Little River County,Caney
Township, Arkansas. IF anyone has any information on Mary (possibly Ann for a middle name) Brazell, I would really appreciate your help.
