My G.G. Parents on my Grand Mother's side are;
John Wilkerson Davis and Mattie Alexander. They lived in Lubbock and had 9 children.

was said to be a "cowboy"

Charles Jackson Davis b. Feb 1900
James Roscoe Davis b. Sept 18, 1903 d. 1991
Mary Davis Arendall b. Dec 6, 1905 d. 200
lived in Ft. Worth
Annie Edna Davis Scott b. Jan 7th, 1909

My GreatGrand Mother on my Grand Father's side is Nancy Adah Peal. My GG Father is Carvin Washington Gilmore.
Ms. Peal, daughter of John Bennett Peal who was possibly married to a Mary Elizabeth (Webb?).
Nancy Ada Peal married Carvin Washington Gilmore who was born in Monroe Co. MS in May 1842, served in the Civil War, and died in Aquilla Texas April 7, 1909.
Both Adah and Carvin are buried at Vaughn Cemetery in Hill Co., Texas around Hillsboro and Peoria.
Nancy Adah Peal was born Nov 3, 1858 and died on Jan 18, 1912 at age 54. She and Carvin had 9 children. From what I know, most of the chidren lived in Texas. West and Waco, and Austin.

Henry A. Gilmore born 1880
Henry was the Police Chief in West, TX
Upton Gilmore born 1882
never married
Annie Laura Gilmore Green b.1883
lived in Austin, has Grand kids in San Antonio
She went by Laura and was the last to die of the siblings.
Cleveland Carvin Gilmore b. Oct 5, 1886 d. Jan 1963
married Daisy Odell Davis both of Waco, TX and buried at Waco Memorial. I have seen many Davis' buried here.
Martha Patsy Gilmore Richards b. 1889
Went by the name "Avis" and lived in CA.
Jessie Aubrey Gilmore b. Jan 1895
married Marie "Mae" Scruggs
Solon Arthur Gilmore b. June 1897
married Essie May Marlon
I'm sorry to say I do not have more information as I am just getting started with this and really don't know what and how to do this yet. I havn't figured out what resources I should begin with.
I think John Bennett Peals parents were Henry Peal and Prudence Tice of North Carolina but I don't know this to be a fact as of yet.
ANYONE WITH FACTS ON THE Peal's/Gilmore Family Of TEXAS AND/OR John Wilkerson Davis AND Mattie Alexander Davis Family Of TEXAS AND Carvin Washington Gilmore AND Nancy Adah Peal Gilmore.....PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!!
