Hugh:I am so happy you wrote me! I know so little about my Grandfather, but I can tell you this. From what my Aunt told me Jesse (Jessie) moved to Ft. Worth after the death of my Grandmother sometime around 1940 or so, My Father James Alford Johnson(Sanders)Moved in with his Grandmother
Wera Maebell Henderson(Brown) (She remarried Carl E Sanders). I have a copy of the Marriage record for my Grandfather and his name is spelled both ways Jesse and Jessie, but the last name is Johnson. When I talked with my dad about his father he said "he say a newspaper clip some time around late 70's or 1980 with Jesse's obit and two children were named, but not my father. Very sad. My aunt also told me she thought he had a couple of sisters one passed away early on, and the others name could have been Juanita?
How do you fit into the family Pic?
