the sarah a williams, married to murrell ratliff are my ggrandparents. their daughter lillie bell ratliff married as her secound husband john benson cox or j.b. cox. they were still married when lillie bell cox died @ corciana, tx on 2/24/1924 of tb, she is buried there at zions rest cemetery. nathan & sarah moved to the calera, ok bryan area and lived & died there son murle also lived there, lillie had a sister named myrtle ratliff that married a walter williams and had a daughter named ruth williams who married a goodwin/goodman. i believe she and her husband moved to portersville,ca tulare county. my mother name is ora mae cox.daughter of j.b.cox & lillie belle ratliff dob 10/6/1915 in atchille ok. i know lillie was first married to a wg ford & had two boys clarence & clifford. one was dropped @ a young age and was crippled always. the other married ethel lewis.john benson also was married before to a woman first name minerve, they had about eight kids most died young of tb, warren cox did live untill adulthood. any way if anything piques your interest, please email me i have a lot of blank spots, oh yes i am also a proud okie. i was born in 1942 @ mcalester, ok. my mom married william elijah hayes @ harrahs ok in 1929. he was also born in krebs, ok. anyway please respond. janet hayes-stout
