My grandfather and his siblings were orphans at Peniel Orphanage in Texas. His name was Roy Gardner. They were there from around 1917 until it closed. I am interested in any information found on this subject. The names of all (inmates) are listed on the census record in the 1920 census. I believe it was precinct #1 Hunt Co. Texas.
