You didn't include any dates, or approximate dates, so I had to go looking.

Looked like Margaret's parents, so went looking.

Next door enumerated with Roberson family:
Dalrymple, Thos, hired, b Mch 1879, 21, sgle, b AR, AR, AR
(this might be the Thomas buried Henderson. If census is correct and birth locations are all AR, maybe his father was brother to your M.M. and when the family was on the move from AL to TX, they were in AR, and one of the family stayed there????)
Have you visited the Henderson Co, TX GenWeb site? I took just a quick look, headstones and dates are listed not only for Martha and J.M. but some other Dalrymples, too. And, the ones you mentioned for Modoc are also listed, but no dates are listed for those. Someone has posted a family tree with Dalrymple in it, you might contact her, see if she has anything on your husband's direct line. There's probably more on that site, I recommend you look and click at everything, use the search engine feature, too.
Happy Hunting (^_^)
