William H. Jackson 1871/1942 Ala?Tx?
Posted by: Richard L. Jackson (ID *****3514) Date: January 28, 2004 at 16:56:13

We have looked for about three years on this Jackson.
His death cert. says born Hartsele,Alabama 1871
and parents from Alabama. No names.
He is buried next to his second wife in Blossom Lamar
Texas. She was Elmina Selina Bryson.
My father said he may have had a younger brother who was
a Charlie Jackson.
Other documents say William or Hamp as he was called
was born in 1877 or 1878.
He first married Loduska Bennett around 1898 in Winston
county Alabama.
The only census we can find him on so far is the 1900 Red River County Texas.
Other than a marriage in Alabama we cant find anything
tying my grandfather to Alabama.
I have found a William H. Jackson born 1871 with a brother
named Charlie born 1875 on the 1880 census for Coryell
County Texas. The father is George W. Jackson and the
mother was a Margaret Williamson Jackson.
After more checking this William wasnt married to Loduska
or Elmina.
Help! Where was Hamp between 1871 and 1900 and who were
his parents or other siblings?
Thank You
Richard L. Jackson
Paris,Tx.
