Need History on McCords Frontier Regiment,Texas Calvary in Civil War!!

I am looking for the History of McCords Frontier Regiment,Texas Calvary which became the 46th Texas Calvary in the Civil War, I am looking For a F.M. Holden who served in this Regiment, I would like to know who his father and mother and children are. Does anyone know if this F.M. Holden had a son named James BuckHanna Holden or a Father named Joseph Holden. I am interested because my great great great grandfather is F.M.Holden who was born Abt. 1830 in Georgia, and He is listed in the 18th Regiment of the Georgia Milita that fought in the Battle of Sharpsburg.(Antietam).He is listed missing in that Battle, but I wonder if he ended up with the 46th Texas Calvary Since they also had a F.M. Holden. Does anyone have any information on that F.M. Holden of the MCCords Frontier Regiment that became the 46th Texas Calvary?
Any information is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Mark Jackson
