His obituary in Dallas Morning News Aug 18, 1910 says Oakland and his obituary in Dallas Times Herald Aug 18, 1910 says Oakland (got them today) and his death certificate says Oakland. We went through Oakland Cemetery cards on microfilm today and found nothing on Horace Frank Smith. The cards were scanned in 1999 so it could have been lost anytime between 1910 and then. We're going to launch an investigation. That's our last resort unless I find his tombstone walking the cemetery. We have relatives in Section 4, 5 and 6 so I'm hoping he's near one of them and has a tombstone and I spot it while walking. Since I live far away getting down there and having the time necessary isn't easy. H. F. Smith is not found as a Lot Owner either by the way.
