I found Minnie in the 1930 census, living alone:

1930 U.S. Federal Census > Texas > Donley > Hedley > District 4 > Page 3A.
Reeves St
Dwelling 52/Family 55 (Rents for $7). This household does not own a radio
Minnie Mendenhall, head, white, 68, widowed, reads, writes, b CT, father b Ohio, mother b NY
