Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Since you know when and where Minnie died, you can obtain a copy of her death certificate which should show the names of her parents. It should also show if she had a Soc Sec number, if so, you can also obtain a copy of the applicationn she filled out, and it should show the names of her parents, her residence at the time of the application and other data, too.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
