Mrs. Louise Hughes (Special to The Telegram)
Belton, Texas, Feb 7. – Word was received here by relatives that Mrs. Louise Hughes had passed away at her home in Miles about 3 o’clock this morning. She had been in falling health for some time, and for several days her condition has been regarded as hopeless. Tuberculosis with complications of diseases had proven too much for her to withstand its ravages.

Mrs. Hughes was a daughter of Mrs. Gray and a sister of Geo. A. and D. F. Gray of this city, and was known to a number of Belton people, having at one time resided here. For the past few years she has made her home in Miles, Texas.

The remains will reach here on the midnight Santa Fe train tonight, and be taken to the residence of Geo. A. Gray on North Main street, where the funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock. Rev. A. F. Cunningham will conduct the services.

There survive her two grown daughters, mother and two brothers.
