Looking for family in San Benito, Texas
Posted by: Minerva Gibbs (ID *****7124) Date: January 08, 2004 at 22:36:01

I recently gathered some more information on my father's uncles. My dad told me that his Uncle Esteban owned a restaurant in San Benito. He doesn't remember the name, but he remembers that he was a good cook. My uncle opened the restaurant sometime in the 40's through possibly the 70's. I also found out that my grandfather, Pedro Villarreal was born in Las Flores, Texas to Octaviano Villarreal and Santos Lugo. My great grandfather and his wife came from Spain before my grandfather was born.

If you have any information that can help me, please let me know. I am desperately trying to get in contact with my dad's cousins.
