Thanks Hugh for the information. I now believe Nora was the sister of my grandmother, Mary M. Hodges Erwin. Mary's parents were George W. Hodges (birthplace unknown) and Julia Elliott Hodges (birthplace unknow). In the 1930 Census 8, 6128 there is a Fred Erwin listed with Bessie, wife, Helen V, and Freda F listed as daughters. This could be my great uncle Fred. I never knew he was married or had two children.
