Thanks for your help. I checked my father's birth certificate and here is the info:
Norman Ray Miller date of birth 7/13/32
Place of birth Harris County, Tx
Father : Jack Miller
Mother: Dora Katherine Kelton
Date filed: 8/10/32 This is the only information on it. It was from the Dept. of Health. He was the youngest of 13 children. Here is the information on his brother's birth certificate: JC Miller - place of birth Wilbarger County, Vernon, Texas Born 12/6/25
Father: Joe H Miller
Mother: Dora Kelton
Residence: Vernon, TX
Physician: Richard W. Hicks, MD
Filed on 12/12/25 County Clerk’s Office on page 50 volume 4 of Records of Births, Wilbarger County, TX

I haven't checked the census records at all. I am really new to this and don't have a clue, but will post a new message asking for help with the census.
