Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Hi Hugh,

Apparently size has nothing to do with that spam blocking. I use AOL and right now it seems they are blocking reply responses from GenForum to AOL users. I've been on the maintenance forum with other AOLers and we're all having the same problem. I've tried checking "allow mail from all senders" and under "blocked mail should be" I checked "delivered to Spam Folder." But, AOL isn't sending anything to my Spam Folder and giving me the chance to look and keep what I might want.

We are still receiving reply notices from Rootsweb message boards -- guess I shouldn't say that out loud. (^_^)

And, if AOL thinks they are blocking spam, why am I still receiving offers for V----a?? If I spell it out GenForum would probably block this message. LOL

I've stopped posting on any GenForums, except Texas and maintenance. I check them each day to see if someone has responded to me. One of the things I like about GenForum is when you click and look at sumpin' the letters change color, so I can tell if I've already looked at a post.

I'm getting way behind on my surname forums, hope this gets cleared up, soon. Happy New Year. (^_^)
