Just spoke to my mother, she says her father was called Bill, but signed his name as W.H. Grooms. Madge was his only wife they married in Okmulgee, Oklahoma in the courthouse. Madge Viola Millican was born in Mississippi, but other siblings were born in Alabama. They moved early in her life to Oklahoma. Her birth was 3/24/1891. Her parents were Thomas Franklin Millican(1860- abt 1938) and Leona Deona Elizabeth Ann Brown. Thomas was born in Cullman Co., Alabama. She also said William had several siblings, not sure of all the names, but a few are Mollie, Jess, Jack, and Sylvia. Thanks for looking, I have hit the brick wall.
