Thank you for your input on my G/grandfather Turner.
I have checked Kaufman Co. marriage records, these are what I have found;James Arthur Turner,Oct.10,1867 to Elizabeth J. Williams, and John L.Turner, to H.M. Dollar,April 18,1868.
I have also checked Henderson Co.Aarvis Turner, August 11, 1871, to Jane Otty.
Van Zandt Co., J.L. Turner, Nov.3, 1870,to Mrs.M.G. Coxwell.
I have checked Red River Co., and Cass Co. as well.
I found the sister to my grandfather,John Thomas Turner,
on the 1900 Van Zandt census, with her husband Thomas K.(Boone) Wilhite, she states she was born 1882, Tx, and her father was from Miss.blank for her Mother.
They had been married for 2 years, no children. She died before 1909, because that is when her husband re married.
I do not know if she died in TX or not.
I have been told by a researcher on the Wilhite side, that they married in Oklahoma, Greer or Jackson Co.1898. This date was on the 1900 Van Zandt census sheet also.
I do not have a clue as what to do next, since there is so little information.
Any futher advice is still needed
Thank you, alice
