The Texas State Library and Archives has a number of Birth, Death and marriages in book form for the state. I sent my surname in for death records and they sent me all with that surname for about .10 a page. You can't beat that. I think they look it up and tell you how much it will cost you and you send it in then. It was quite a while ago. It may cost a bit more now. Doesn't everything? The address in on the TLSA page, I believe. Send it to the Genealogy Dept.
