Duncans - pottery makers from SC
Posted by: Sally Boyd Date: August 15, 1999 at 15:37:24

I'm searching for Duncans who were pottery makers and migrated from the Edgefield area of SC. in the mid 1800's? Sorry to be so vague, but my Duncan ancestor was an orphaned girl. Tracing her family has been a real challenge! The Duncans in Texas are probably Aunts and Uncles of her parents or G-parents.

I am looking for relatives of Cora Duncan, b. 1869 in Due West, SC. Her mother's name was Martha b. abt 1843, her father's name MAY have been J.J., b. 1838. His parents MAY have been George A and Elizabeth Eakin Duncan. I'm expecting Texas relatives to be brothers or uncles to J.J.

Please respond via email.

Thanks,

Sally Boyd
