John Congues Port Arthur Texas

I am researching my family's ancestors here in Australia.

We orginated from France around 1860. In my searching have found that there was a John Congues (born 4 Mar 1909 and died Jan 1971) he lived in Port Arthur, Jefferson County Texas. SSN 459-03-0993. That is as far as I can find there appears to be no record of any of his family. If anybody has any information or leads please contact me
