First I would post a query on the Quinn surname forum, then all Quinn message boards you can find.Someone might recognize the family. I would leave out terms "wealthy" and "royal", maybe use something like prominent, if you like.
Try this site -- http://www.worldgenweb.orghttp://www.worldgenweb.org
Click on North America, then click on Honduras.First option on that site is in English.Browse and click to see what they might offer, then post your query.
You talk about your paternal grandfather, your father and your uncle, but you never give them names, I would include their names.Do youhave any dates, or approximate dates, for birth etc for grandfather? If not, how about your father and uncle?Something that narrows down time period to more then just "he visited Honduras in early to mid 1900s."Do you know who your grandfather married?
Did your father and uncle die prior to death of their father? If so, you might look for obituary for both men, see if anything is mentioned about their father in Honduras.
Did your uncle leave any children?Talk to cousins, you never know when one of them heard a story never passed down in your immediate family. This has happened in my own family.
