Camp Rowe, TX, ca. 1860

My great-grandfather, Dr. John William Veazey, enlisted in the CSA at Camp Rowe on Nov. 4, 1861. According to a record from the War Department to my aunt in Nov. 1935, he was a Capt., 1st Co. H, 13th Regt. Texas Volunteers. I have tried in vain to learn the location of this Camp Rowe from several sources, including the Texas Archives and the CSA headquarters in Hillsboro, TX. I will appreciate any help with this. Barbara B. King, bking26@gte.net
