Joan- You have been so very helpful. I really appreciate the guidance- you have offered some great tips!!! I am not very experienced in "actual" research(most of my search has been on the net-I have 2 small children)so when someone is willing to give me good advice...I take it.
As for Brackettville, we took a family trip to the "alamo" and was I amazed at how much I enjoyed it. Living in San Antonio I didn't think I would- I've been to the "real" Alamo so many times. In some ways I enjoyed the Brackettville alamo more.
