You may already have the information, but if you go to the Handbook of TX type in Blocker and up comes several brief bios on the Blocker family you speak of:

I remember a western about a man and his sons, but I think it came along after Rawhide. The series was filmed at the movie set Old Tucson in AZ. The ranch house is located across a little arroyo from the set for the town, but of course, in the series it was way out of town. (^_^)

I can picture the man who played the father, but can't think of his name. Seems like the man who worked under him as foreman for the ranch was called Blue.

Well, couldn't stand it and went to Google found Old Tucson site -- it was High Chaparral ran 1966-'71. (^_^)
