Since you didn't include any dates, or approximate dates, in your query I checked your message history. Information you posted on Edinburgh forum was more helpful.

Check Walker Co, TX GenWeb site, type in Edinburgh and they have the 1850 census for the county online. In the household of C.C. Edinburgh is a female "Polly" (which is a nickname for Mary) 12 years old, b TX. Could this be your Mary Rebecca Edinburgh which you show born 1841?

Check the archived section of the TX GenWeb Project for any additional county records, too. And, I would post a query on that county site, also.
