Go to Handbook of TX online and type in Wauls, up comes 24 items. Click on the third item it is about Waul's Texas Legion. The source is given at the end of the brief item, you might want to see if you can find a copy of the book.

I just browsed through the other items, some about Fort Waul, and some mention Thomas Waul who raised the legion. You may want to click and look further, as I did spot a couple of companies mentioned, and Co F might be included in full information.

Have you tried the Civil War Forum? Go up and click on My GenForum, find and click on Wars, scroll down and click on Civil War. Post your query there, too. There are some pretty knowledgable people who browse the site and respond with helpful information.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
