Oh, thank you so much! That is what I needed the 1890 Texas Veterans census is only for Union veterans, so we are talking about the same census. Now, maybe I can find this uncle. I need him to join Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the U.S. as an hereditary member. I haven't even joined as an hereditary member and have already been contacted to be Ohio commmander if I can document this.
