The 1880 census is online now at the LDS Family Search website. It takes a while to get used to using the search form. I still like the CD's best. I looked for William Elliott from VA in other states, too, but none have a wife named Mary. There are lots of Elliotts in Bell County. A Mary Elliott from Kentucky, widowed, but her children's father is from Kentucky, too. That Robert I gave you is the only Elliott from VA in Bell County.
