Harrell, Lee, Granade, OBar, Bundrant families of Tx and N.C.
My Harrell line starts (for me), with Enos Harrell of Jones cty. North Carolina on the 1790 census. He married Asenath Lee (probably) the granddaughter of John Burton Lee, also of Jones cty. and they became guardian for minor child Elizabeth Granade.Family moved to Smith cty Tennessee in early 1800's...probably before 1820 and then to Lauderdale cty, Alabama, sometime after...around 1830, and after 1830 Enos and Asenath died.Son Asa and his sons James Jackson and Jesse moved to Texas in 1854, settling on Rabbs creek in Fayette cty.Either by relationship or later intermarriage, the Asa Harrell family was related to ealier settlers William and Minerva Harrell, of Missouri, and by marriage through Bundrant line, to Timmoneys and Crawford and Gotcher (Gotier) family...variously early settlers, Indian attack victims and captives, lead mine owner, 2nd family in Fayette cty after Rabb, artilleryman at Alamo, Texas Ranger in 1840's, and so on.Looking for clues to Alabama and Tennesee periods and Enos, Asenath and Elizabeth Grenades parents, grandparents...mentions in deeds, etc.
