Hi Tim.
I believe this is your Coffee family. They are the only Charles/Charlie/Charlie Coffee family in the Texas head-of-household index for 1920.
1920 Texas, San Patricio County, Precint 4, ED 188, Page 12A
Farm (owned)
Charles M. Coffee, Head, 45, born Tenn, father born Tenn, mother born Va, Farmer
Mollie O., Wife, 46, born Texas, parents born Tenn
Erminie S., Daughter, 20, born Texas
Albert W., Son, 17, born Texas
Charles E., Son, 9, born Texas
Here is a possibility for you for the Hunts. There were only two Henry Hunt families listed in San Patricio County (where the Coffees were found), and this was the only one with a son named Joe/Joseph.
1920 Texas, San Patricio County, Precinct 4, ED 188, Page 6A
Farm (renting)
Henry Hunt, Head, 48, he and parents born Tenn, Farmer
Corine S., Wife, 48, born Tx, father born LA, mother born Tx
Joe F., Son, 23, Farm Laborer
Abbie R., Daughter, 21
Norma E., Daughter, 19
George W., Son, 18
Herman F., Son, 13
Florence F., Daughter, 11
Leroy H., Son, 9
All of the kids were listed as being born in Texas.
If you haven't already, you should order the death certificates for anyone whose death date you know. The death certificates usually tell you their actual birthdates as well as the names of their parents (including mother's maiden name).
Good luck!
Karen
