Looking for parents and siblings of Eli D Hughs (Hughes) , b. 1825 possibly in Marion County, Georgia, married to Mary M. Phillips. Children of Eli and Mary Hughs were Samuel b. 1846 GA, Louis David, b. 1852 GA, and Susan O. Hughs (Hughes), b. 1850 GA. Eli D Hughes was born in Georgia, as well as his children but his parents were born in South Carolina per Census information. Eli's son Louis David Hughes married Iantha Clark, b. 1852 Alabama, in Barbour County, Alabama. Louis David and Iantha Hughes had at 11 children in Alabama at least one child born in Dale County and then moved to Texas. I have no further information as of yet on the other two children of Eli and Mary Hughes (Samuel and Susan O.).
