Carlisle Cherokee Link

Hi, I'm looking for any information on the Carlisle family from East Texas but especially on the link of my family with the Cherokee Indian Nation. I have been told that my great, great, grandmother Martha Adaline Colston Carlisle was full blood Cherokee Indian. She would have been from the eastern part of Arkansas around 1847. She was born Sept. 20, 1847 and died Aug. 22, 1896. She married Thomas Rufus Carlisle, born Oct. 15, 1845 and died April 21, 1928. They are both buried in Pleasant Hill cemetary in Bryans Mill Texas. I'm looking for any information on either one as far as where they came from to get to Arkansas and then to Texas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike Carlisle in east Texas.
