Patricia, I'm not sure if this ties-in with your Head's. A friend of my Grandmother's lived only a short block away in Dallas. Her name, to me, was Mrs. Head (wish I could remember a first name my grandmother may have called her). She lived on the SE corner of Searcy (2100 block) and Superior in Oak Cliff. This was in the 1940s-60s. She may have been a spouse of one of your Heads.

Don't know if this will fit your searching, but I've found sometimes that obscure clues lead to good info.
