Hi Patricia.

This looks as if it could be your family in the 1920 census:

1920 Texas, Henderson County, ED 20, Sheet 6A
Farm (owned mortgaged)
110 112
John D. Head, 36, Tx, Tx, Louisiana, Farmer
Maud L., 29, Ala, Ala, Ala
Nora, Daughter, 17, Tx, Farm Laborr
Watson, Son, 12, Tx, Farm Laborer
Levi, Son, 12, Tx
Kenneth, Son, 7, Tx
Thomas, Son, 3 7/12, Tx
?? McKay, Boarder, 17, TX

I checked the SSDI and Texas Death index for John Daniel and Maude's deaths. This came up for Maude:

MAUDIE HEAD
SSN 463-86-3933 Residence: 79556 Sweetwater, Nolan, TX
Born 15 May 1889
Died Sep 1975 Issued: TX (1965)

Head Maudie L 03 September 1975 NOLAN

You can request either her death certificate or her social security application. Both of them should tell you the names of her parents.

I couldn't find John in the SSDI, but this is a possibility in the Texas Death Index:
Head John Daniel 26 November 1965 NOLAN

Happy Hunting!
Karen
