Looking for information on Samuel and Sarah Mitchell in Tarrant County. Samuel is listed on Tax Assessment rolls in Tarrant County, Texas from 1860-1864, owning 320 acres. Have letter dated 1867 from Tarrant Co. to a sister (Comphort). Samuel had a brother - William D.W.Mitchell in Ohio (my gggrandfather), killed in Civil War, and two sisters, Ann (m. Thomas Davis in Wisconsin,) and Comphort (married name Trymon?.) Any information is appreciated.
