Have you checked the Comanche Co, TX Gen Web site? Some GenWeb counties are not only putting their cemeteries online, but other info, too. Also, check the archived section of the TXGenWeb Project for additional county records.

Contact the public library there and see if they have local newspapers, or obits, on micofilm. If they do not, they should know who has them. If all else fails, try the University of TX at Austin, they have the largest collection of TX newspapers. They do not do research, but you have date of death and they will look for obits. If they find it they willl make a copy and send along to you for a small fee.

From your message history I see you are looking for immigration of William, too. Have you tried the Galveston Co, TX GenWeb site? They have Galveston immigration indexes. Also, have you looked for Wm and Carrie on 1910 and 1920 census records? That will ask when he immigrated, that will help to narrow down time period of immigration search. Happy Hunting.
