I found Anna (Kinnibrugh)Williams in about 20 land records, and census records in Frederick. Census 1920, Hazel Dist. Frederick, OK lists her birthplace as AR, parents both born TN. They were early pioneers in Frederick. Family legend says they walked to Oklahoma from North Central Texas with Alfalfa Bill Murray. (not substantiated) Bill Murray came to OK 1896. Earliest land records for JD and Anna Williams in Frederick are 1903, when they purchased land for $1.25 and acre from the US government in Lawton, OK. (at 3:00 p.m. mid July - don't you know it was hot?)

They had at least 10 children, my grandfather being the last, b. 1908. At the cemetery, I found graves of three infants they buried. I have newspaper articles, cemetery records, or census records on most of their children.
