Searching for great-great-grandfather, Peter Whetstone, one of the founders of Marshall (Harrison County), TX, who died in an ambush in the late 1840's in the Regulator/Moderator conflict after service in the war for Texas independence. He married Dicey (?) Webster in Arkansas in 1816. All details we have are sketchy.
